The Bath United Services Association will be holding a wreath laying ceremony at 11am at War memorial, Firs Field, Combe Down. The Mayor of Bath, Cllr Malcolm Lees, will also be present. Sunday 13th November: Bath Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade 11.00am: wreath laying at Royal Victoria Park War Memorial. ![]() Standard bearers from the Royal British Legion will be located there in the area filled now by the Cross of Remembrance. Councillor McGall will also lay a wreath at the Timsbury Remembrance Sunday Service on November 13. The service will begin at 10.45 am at the War Memorial in Memorial Gardens. The two minute silence will be incorporated into a short service held outside the west door of Bath Abbey. The 2021 Remembrance Service will be held on Sunday 14th November 2021. Meanwhile on Monday, November 11th maroons will be fired from the Parade Gardens to mark the beginning and the end of the two minute silence to remember those who died in the service of their country. This will be followed by the Royal British Legion’s Remembrance Sunday Service at Bath Abbey from 3 to 4 pm. The Parade and services are organised by the Royal British. The annual wreath laying ceremony at Royal Victoria Park War Memorial at 10:45-11:30 commemorates the British service men and women who fought for the country in conflicts including two world wars. Bath and North East Somerset Council is planning to stop its funding of the event, which will now be done directly by the city of Bath. Later the parade forms up in Milsom Street around 2pm to march past the Guildhall Steps at 2.30.
